Hi,

I try to make an chassis for an planar speaker, by using an exiter from Dayton audio.
But it seems, this speaker work better without any enclosure?
Sounds good, but I have to measure the speaker in near future.

The outer diameter from speaker is 21 cm, the diaphragma is mylar.
The black "gear" is foam rubber. I made all the parts with my CNC.

It`s only an test project. Please do not to look closely. 😉
Any Questions? 🙂

Thank you! 🙂

I use an Dayton audio DAEX25FHE-4 Framed High Efficiency 25mm Exciter.
Here is the frequency diagram:

It`s difficult, I know, but I use and DSP Amplifier and the frequency above 300 Hz and can hopefully fix some problems from the driver.
Another problem the foil have some resonaces? 😕

Before I use these one, I look for big horn drivers, but there are much more problems to mount an contact between the foil and the driver.
