Although I can add some 220 plugs if required for lights or big amp

DIY power distribution isn't going to save you any money.what you save in building it yourself you spend in getting it approved/certified for use.
are you looking for single phase or three phase?
Whirlwind makes some really nice already roadcased stuff and is well worth the price.
as an old touring tech i understand the need for this but trust me when i say your venture is filled with potential pitfalls.
nothing will stop a show faster than an ESA inspector who doesn't like the look of your homebrew distro!

Yes: Don't do it! If anything should happen to you or your audience because of your home brewed power distribution, you will burn in hell. As others have pointed out: Buy ready made, and make sure it carries all the stickers which Canadian authorities might want to see.Looking to build my own power distribution road case
