It works well, this is how I get my prototypes built when I want to test a pcb layout. I use glossy inkjet photo paper, very cheap.
A big thanks to Tom Gootee (a member here) who has an excellent tutorial HERE.
I've been using this method for a while, pretty much following Tom's method to the letter with excellent results.
