I am thinking of applying noise cancelling functionality on a normal headphone using a RPI. Good noise cancelling headphones are quite expensive and I have most of the components in place (RPI, USB soundcard, headphone). I have some experience using ecasound and dsp on a RPI. I found some Python code on Github that can be used as a starting point GitHub - loehnertz/rattlesnake: A Python application that does noise cancellation. I couldn't find any earlier topics on this on this forum, but on the RPI forum there is one Active noise (acoustic) cancellation - Raspberry Pi Forums . Are there any people with experience on this?
