Let's keep this short. If you want cheap multiroom sound, it doesn't get any better than Stereophone. It's a set of audio cables that lets you plug an audio source into one phone jack and retrieve it with stereos at all the other phone jacks. Bam! Instant surround sound for $30.

The coolest part is that if you use a computer as the audio source, you can use smartphone apps like Retune or Remote to control your audio from anywhere in the house.
