DIY Lenco L65 belt change

Hi Guys!

Last weekend i found a Lenco L65 turntable at a garage sale here in Caracas, Venezuela. I though that was really cool looking and bought it really cheap (20$), knowing that it had a broken belt.

Here in CCS there isn't a reliable TT technician that can fix it, so im thinking to change it myself, but i want to know if maybe someone here can give me some crash course on how to do it... i've been googling this for days and nothing (relevant) comes up.

Is this something i can do without any technical knowledge of the internal mechanics and stuff?? If so, i only need to know how to disassemble the TT and change the belt. If someone have any other suggestions of parts i can check while im on it, that would be awesome! Im waiting to see if i can do it and buy the parts online

Thanks in advance and excuse my poor english! 🙂

Found some information online for the L65, I was mistaken as it is belt driven. I assume the platter just lifts off, although there may be a C clip holding it in place.

There is nothing I could find on Lenco Heaven about this TT, which was the first clue.

Pix here that show the sub-platter and belt: Gira discos Lenco L65 - Alta fidelidade - Coimbra - Venda de artigos usados fourth picture in the gallery.

Nothing I could locate on eBay..
