Folks,
Need some very good advise. Trying to build a 50-100w Pure class A amplifier that rivals the likes of Quad and Krell. I would prefer a ready made PCB if possible but can assemble if required.
Got all the stuff like chassis, power supply and other stuff. Just need a good sounding design with today’s components. Can you recommend any site that sells these ?
Any advice is appreciated. 🙏

How did those two end up in the same sentence? Quad only ever made a single class A amp and it was with tubes...

Yeah, read those 50 articles and find one that is 50-100W Class A. Good luck. Don't get me wrong, the articles are good, just do not meet your power requirements. You want 50-100W class A with ready made boards? Going to be very hard to find.

There are also "Turbo" versions with extra output devices, and several pcbs for them.

Yeah, good luck with that.
Hey, in the interest of cutting to the chase since I happen to be here today I will start this off--- let me be the first to point out that a 50-100W class A amp is huge, really its huge, and you should not do this as a first project, seriously!
Now will come the people asking you if you really need that much power and if you really can follow through with a true class A build.
Best wishes and hope you get what you want.

Please carry out lots of investigation into class A before you come to any decisions.
A well designed class A amplifier will be extremely pleasing , but:
With the power outputs you mention ( I presume into 8 ohms) please bear in mind:
Cost, will be very high.
Size, especially if passive cooling will be large.
Weight, hope you are strong.
Heat, heat, heat. If you are after 100w into 8 ohms you are looking at dissipating enough heat to warm a small room.

You can ask Pinnocchio on this forum for advise about its >50W ExtremA amplifier... yes heat is a concern...
