I'm looking to build a 2-WAY center channel with 2-Dayton DS215-8 8" woofers and a Fountek NeoCD3.5H. I would like the crossover at 2500Hz. I'm looking for help with designing a crossover. Building material will be 3/4" MDF. Box will be vented for 52Hz and approx. 1.5ft3. What I struggle understanding is how to bring the tweeter sensitivity down to match the woofer at 89.9db. Suggestions and explanations are welcome. Thanks!
You need to Put an L-pad circuit on the tweeter.

Crossover design is extremely complex to get right. You will have to learn a lot in order to get great sound. Don't use "stock crossovers" and don't order parts until you have an understanding of the complexity. It's a lot of fun, but not easy. If you want an easier solution, there are some great kits that can yield great sound much more quickly. Good luck, have fun!
