Hi all,
I recently completed a Pass Zen revisited amp. I am loving it .
Being only 10 watts
I like to use an active crossover to transition to a subwoofer. My tube xover,(diy Steve Bench), doesn't have the "grunt" to drive the Zen. Mr Bench specifies 100K ohm minimum load. An op-amp crossover seems to works fine, but , its op-amps. (Would like something better). I have used IRF510 mosfets before,(Pass BOZ preamp), and they sound very tube-like. Does anyone know of an active xover circuit I can build, using these or similar FET's? If not, I probably could use a cathode follower on the output of the Bench xover, but there seems to be a lot of negative opinion on the sound of CF circuits.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

jfet xover
I love the sound of the depletion mode mosfets that Pass used in his Zen projects. I would love to find a project using them in single ended class a ,for an active xover.
