Dismantling a Peavey 15 watt amp: Safety?

I was just wondering what safety precautions I have to keep in mind when taking apart my Peavey Rage 15watt solid state guitar amp.

The same as with tube amps or is there other stuff i sould know?

Those little Peaveys are cool. The thing to be aware of is the AC line. The amp circuitry runs on a low voltage that is not dangerous. Nothing in there holds a charge for more than a couple seconds, and even then it is no more than 30 volts. If you work with the AC cord removed from the wall socket you will be safe.
