Dimensions for anode cap sizes?

I have searched and googled but cannot find it.

Is there some reference that lists the diameters of the anode cap sizes referenced in datasheets (e.g. C1-1 C1-2 C1-3)? Trying to buy some with descriptors like "very small" and "small" is frustrating, and you can't believe the variation in what I came across described as "medium" 😀

I see what you mean. Looking at the 6BG6GA, the data sheet lists a top cap size C1-1, Small. I measured a 6BG6G top cap which is about 0.360" in diameter, close enough to call it 3/8". One would hope the "GA" would be the same, but not going to assume it is, don't have one here to measure.

Alas, there are too many skirted miniatures among the sweep tubes that interest me. It's hard to find caps that fit them, and the ones that do tend to ride high because of the skirt and look dorky. What I'll probably end up doing is machining my own using glass/silicone rod stock and phosphor bronze sheet, with a set screw to keep everything nice and snug (no little inquisitive fingers in my house). I remember seeing tube caps made for these little beasts made out of phenolic with proper 4-point contacts, but that was 40 years or so ago.

Source for tube caps for skirted anode caps?

Does anybody have a source for tube caps for the skirted type anode caps, i.e. C1-2, C1-22, C1-33, that actually cover the skirt?

Please don't reply if you just have information on typical plate caps.
