Digital PC test measurement

I have a PC based digital oscilloscope- a chinese internet buy but it does the job. It's a DSO-2090USB.
Is there a PC program available that lets me output digital test signals- sine and square wave, to the spdif input on my dacs that can then be read in turn on the scope ?
I know i can use a test CD but this would be a lot simpler.
I've seen programs that generate digital signals, but not in spdif form.

Try Audacity

Although it is an audio editor program, there is a function for generating different tones (waveforms) which you can then save to a wav file.
