different camera different effect

Interesting. So which one is a closer match to the real thing? The first one looks dark, and the colors are off (too much red), and the second is nice except the whites are burning hot out of control. Knowing you, I'm sure your image looks 10 times better in real life than either of those pictures represent.
 
white balance

hi ywh, do either of your cameras have an "auto white balance" feature? if they do, just display a pure white image on your screen and have the camera "white balance" to it. that may correct the problem in the second image, where the image is too white.

thx, minotia dimage 2300 is mine ,it is a "goofy camera "
have "auto white balance" only

ywh I need a really big screen 10 ft wide by 8 feet tall, bigger soon as I get my new building (then I'm going to work on a torus maybe. I use my ATI TV Wonder card (not an all in wonder video card) I set it for "video desktop" AWESOME! the whole wall is projected and looks really good.
