Hi,

I am looking for a schematic for this amp. When I press the source direct switch, the balance and tone is bypassed but both sides sound equally loud. If I release this switch, the balance and tone works but one side is very soft. Can the problem be with the tone circuit. I do not have a schematic, if anyone has, please forward me a copy.

The source direct switch probably also bypasses the balance control. Make certain you have this central. Otherwise, assuming the switch is an alternate action (push on-push off) type, first check that all 3 stereo sections of it are switching correctly with a voltmeter or scope.
