Denon DVD-2900 Power Supply Modifications?

Hello all,

I've just become the owner of a Denon DVD-2900 player, and I'd like to modify it to improve its performance.
I've got a service manual and plenty of soldering experience.... 🙂

In any event, I'd like to start with the power supply. I've perused the archives for hours, and can't quite get
a handle on what to do here. At a bare minimum, I will be replacing the diodes D901-904, and replacing
(upgrading?) C905. Upgrading the remainder of the capacitiors is the reason for this post!

As a somewhat lazy modder, I'd like to remove-reinstall this PS board as few times as possible.
Two modification strategies come to mind:

1. Identify and upgrade the items that will produce the most sonic benefit.
2. Simply upgrade EVERY 'lytic capacitor on the board and be done with it.

Option 1 - If I choose this route, where should I spend the $ and effort?

Option 2 - If I do decide to replace every cap, I'd like to 'single source' the order from one vendor, and stick
with one manufacturer for everything. Any suggestions?

Lastly, will there be any benefit to increasing the capacitance of C905?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
