Denon 4306 pre-out modding

Not entirely sure I'm in the right part of the forum for this... (sorry mod, if I'm not!)

I'm trying to get the best out of a situation where I'm using a Denon 4306 receiver with an external stereo amp for the main channels (UCD400AD's actually)

With very limited knowledge of electronics I'm trying to figure out if I can bypass a part of the pre-out circuitry in the Denon, avoiding any quality reducing caps or unneeded opamps in the process.

I have found the 4306 service manual with has a drawing of the pre-out section on page 105 and the power section on page 106. If I look at it right, the signal seems to come into the power stage in balanced form (indicated 6P-TUCP-BASE) - could I simply take this signal and wire it to an XLR connector or am I just too naive about all this? 🙂 Should I get the signal maybe even earlier? (Page 105?) - I'm not too worried if the signal is too weak, because it's a receiver - channel levels can be calibrated to 12db up I think. There's also the volume unit on page 110 (leading to the amp section on 106)

Thanks for your insights.

If I'm really over my head on this one - I'd be happy just to bypass the output caps as I know this brings the best improvement (I still have input caps on the UCD's)

I think these are it:

C801, C802, C803, C804? Is this right? Why are 2 used on every channel?

What about the parallel ones C805 and C806, do they have any negative effect on the audio?
