Hello,
I am an audio engineer with my own P.A. system. I want to split the channels coming from stage (microphone & linelevel) (between 16 & 32 channels) to a monitormixer and a front of house mixer.
I know there are galvanic seperated active boxes that do such a job.
I am interested in a DIY job.
I can make a passive splittingbox. But then I would looze some some dynamics and quality of the signal. I want to avoid just that.

Hi,
From my experience (I have built and used active (BSSs) and passive microphone splitters), the best are passive types with good mic-line transformers. On jensen site (http://www.jensen-transformers.com) you can find a lot of DI-box and splitter schematics.
