Hello, I have DD amp which has a defective power supply(no power). I replaced gate resistors, FETS(originally it was 85N06 but due to no available parts I replaced it with 70N06) and 2 PNP transistor driver for PS FETs(I replaced it with different part number).
I have a pulsating 5volts from the output of the PWM Ic(TL494) but it is just 1.5VDC on the output of the driver transistors and gate terminals. I think with this voltage, It can't able drive the PS FETs.
May I know what is the problem of this Amp? I Amp didnt come to protect mode but got no rail voltages.

Does it use both NPN and PNP driver transistors or only PNP driver transistors with diodes?
Are you sure that you have the pins oriented correctly for the substitute transistors? Not all transistors have the same pin configuration.

I replaced them with both PNP. I'll check again the pin configuration. thank you very much!
I didn't trace the part number of the defective transistors and diode,they were burnt. I just find and replaced them with 2A and 60V rating for the transistors and diode from other amp.
