DC Connector for Amp to Separate Power supply

For a Pass amp (Aleph J) where the power supply is on a separate chassis from the amp:
What cable and connector arrangement do builders use?
Binding posts are one possibility, but there's the possibility of confusion with speaker connections.
A screw terminal block would be another.
I'd prefer something more 'plug' like - like the military 'aviation plugs'.
Neutrik AC connectors?
Suggestions?

I don't usually like the idea of using connectors for anything other than their designed/established purpose. However, if you only need three conductors, you could consider the old Cannon mains power plug and sockets. They have been obsolete for mains use for long enough for there to be no confusion. The only problem is that they may be hard to find now.

Having made the suggestion, I am now wondering about the DC current handling capacity. They may be more suited to pre-amp power supplies.

Just recently purchased 4 pole speakon connectors for a power supply to amp connection for a pair of monoblock F5TV3. I purchased the reverse of the normal polarity so nobody can plug a normal speakon cable into the power supply. There are also all metal constructed version of these connectors which is what I bought. The current rating is 40amps ac and the metal ones are a pretty impressive connector system. You need at least 4 contacts if you plan to run the chassis ground (recommended for safety) as well as common and +-DC to the amp box. I got them at Mouser and they run about 30$/pair canadian.
