Hello, i was between Buying a Single TBW100 vs 2 RBX100,
But then i saw, the Dayton currently at $120.
I will run them for outdoors, Dj use.
On a Reflex box, 7cu after port. Box is tuned to 38hz.
I will run them with a Inuke 6000.
Currently running a single JBL 2241h 8ohm, but is not loud enough.
Im thinking of buying 2 Dayton PA465S and if that is not loud enough
then buying 2 more.
Or Should i brake the bank and buy 2 TBW100s?

B&C makes a better driver....but the Dayton is a killer deal and good driver as well. I would buy four right off the bat if you could swing it. Outdoors is tough on speakers.
Four off of that amp will be a big improvement and serve you well for a long time.

Yes the B&Cs are much better drivers but unless you put them in tapped horns(is that an option?) you may as well buy 4 of the Daytons. 2 TBWs in tapped horns would equal or exceed the output of 4 reflex PA465s and be roughly the same size.
yea, i already have 2 reflex cabinets, i will just have to make 2 more.
Yes i think im going to buy 4 PA465. YOLO anayways.

If the B&C woofer is more powerful than the Dayton, you end up with more cabinets to haul around, should you buy the Daytons.

Take a look at the Keystone sub and see if it looks like something you can build.

I have 2 TBW100s in reflex boxes. Huge step up in output from the two 18's i was using before. The B&C's are wicked drivers.

Which woofer you had before?
how many amps you are feeding and tunning?
According to the specifications the b&c and Dayton have roughly the same amount of xmax. If it's linear excursion that is limiting you and the cabinet alignments are very similar then the b&c is unlikely to give you much more than the Dayton.
You got about 800w per driver with that amp. Should make a good bit of noise. A steal at that price.
