Just looking for any advice to fine tune a speaker I have been working on. Its my first so still learning here. I have used a Dayton audio DS135/8 5 inch woofer with a Monacor 104/8 tweeter. It sounds really nice but I am wondering what is causing the dip in the 400hz area. I know if have a dip between 1.5k and 4k which I could correct but this sounds really good/detailed, with a good amount of bass. I have attached picture of speaker which has an internal volume of 5.64L before any lining. Speaker is lined with Jantzen Audio wool fabric and then three layers of Monacor speaker dampening pads behind the woofer. There is a clear gap between the woofer and entrance to the port.
Tweeter is 5.8cm from the top of the speaker and 8.7cm from each side. Woofer is 19.5cm from the top and 11.4cm from the bottom. Tweeter is sealed in its own case within the speaker and the port is flared at one end 2" x 5.5" tuned to 52hz as measured with DATS.
Measured in REW, I only get an f3 of 85hz but in room it sounds a lot lower.
