hello ,
i search full datasheet for comparaison to 6P42S and 6P45C for build stéréo SE 6P45c or 6P42S .
many thanks all 😉

Hi,
I don't think they'd be of much use to TS unless he masters the Russian language.🙂
Anyway, from memory I believe the 42 is close to our EL508 whereas the 45 is roughly equivalent to our EL509.
Ciao, 😉

Datas seem quite identical except the pin order. I have no experience with 6p42s.
I have once tested a PP amplifier with PL519 and 6p45s. The results were very identical.
What could be the history behind these two similar tubes but with different pin order ?

Hi,
It appears they're quite identical, the 6P42 is also some EL509 and not an EL508 as I thought.
Nice tube to make a PP amp or an OTL but then you can get the same tube with a much easier octal socket and no anode cap form JJ for instance.
