Damping circuit across secondary?

I have done some calculations for diode snubbers that have resulted in 1.6uF and 20ohms. Can I put this across the transformer secondary rather than each diode as this would be much easier to do with the larger capacitors.

Details are:
Lsec=10mH
Lleakage sec=100uH
Ctotal=250n

I already have 100nF caps across each diode for voltage sharing purposes and ringing frequency reduction.

Hi,
the series combination of 1u6F and 20r will draw very little power at mains frequency.
It is safe to test this across the secondary or across the PSU output. Listen to the results and tell us what you have found out.
