Dac inputs: tip needed how to place receptacles on panel.

Good morning
I have dac based on ak4399, bought on ebay.
Going to put it into enclosure which was drilled for another dac, so size measurements for receptacles do not match anymore.
I need to place one rca, one toslink and usb on the back panel, removing current receptacles and extending wires (1.5 inch approx length) to the board.
With rca is not a big deal, so no question.
What about toslink:
I have toslink input module from twisted pear audio which was intended to be used anyway. But since it has passive components to run with , and dac has same around native module, can I place this component on the panel or not without changing/removing those parts ?
And any special tips on making changes with usb ?

P.S.: believe it or not ebay is down currently so I cannot show pics of dac 🙂
