DAB radio modules

I don't see these anywhere. Only retail commercial built solutions.

I fancied a go at building a better bedroom radio with small class d amp.

Why are Dab modules non existent to the diyer?

Not cheap so maybe a hack job on an existing radio might be prudent!

Yes it's looking more likely to buy something to modify. The screen and controls are paramount to useability.
