Very newbie question here. I am buying my first line array for small venues (<1000 people).
The Q1 is rated 400W RMS @ 8 ohms. The D12 is rated 800W RMS per channel @ 8 ohms. So in theory, the D12 is able to power exactly 2 loudspeakers per channel. Am I right? The 2nd loudspeaker will be connected in the line-thru of the 1st loudspeaker, and putting the D12 amp in Q1 preset should do the correct impedance and crossover settings, right?
Just want to make sure I am not underpowering or overpowering the speakers.
Thanks

the D12 is one of the recommended amps for this box and there are presets so I don't see how. How many of each do you have?
An event company I was working with in the past always used 3* Q1 per D12 channel. So in sum 6 per D12.
d&b specify that this is possible with limited power capability.
However practically they did several times loud open air festivals / house music festivals with always 3 Q1 per D12 channel and there was never a real problem even at amp limit.

I finally found the place in the docs where they say 2 * Q1 per amp channel is the recommended configuration, so that's what I did. 3* Q1 per amp channel should also do If you don't plan to use all the speaker power. Thanks for your help.
