I love this little amplifier but know very little about what topology/design it uses. Is this Cyrus' own implementation, a deviation/adaption of an off-the shelf module or just an off-the shelf one? Thanks
Taking a cursory look at the company, it appears to be their own design. They also harp on about they're "Speaker Impedance Detection" technology. They say the amp tests the speaker impedance and makes adjustment for a flat reponse. Seems like a DSP band-aid fix to compensate for load dependent frequency response instead of using post-filter feedback?
No idea about the 'SID', it very briefly sends a very quiet noise resembling 'crushing a plastic wrapper' to the speakers up on powering up and then goes about it's business. There are no useable DSP selectable filters.

I'm making the assumption of it being done with DSP since that's the only way that makes sense to me, but I'm also midwit.
EDIT: I was able to find close-up pictures of the PCB for a Cyrus One HD (not the Cast, but close enough). The amplifier section is IRS2092S based paired with some unknown Infineon DirectFET packaged output devices, so nothing really special.
