put my cyrus dvd 7 into local repair shop as was skipping cds. They diagnosed faulty laser and ordered new one, that was december- after 3 months of calling i have been told that they cant get it to work and might need new digi board, has anyone else had this problem?
That's unfortunate. Is it possible for the repair shop to get a digital board then? Maybe from another unit or something?
EDIT: If it were me I wouldn't use a CD player any more myself. I rip CDs to a PC and play them from there. With a good dac it can work quite well.
