I removed the base, discovered both 6A3 Fast Blow fuses had blown violently which means there is obviously a dead short somewhere. First things first, work backwards from the output stage.
Output transistor pair had failed.
I removed the output transistors after fighting with the self adhesive heat-sink pads ... and ordered the required transistors.
2SA1386 and its compliment 2SC3519. These are Sanken components and as such must order the same. Not cheap!
There are three transistors bolted together to conduct the heat for stability. The transistor with white paint on is short circuit. 2SA1358. If any other transistor is substituted, the vbe may be different and not allow the correct bias current.
Fitted new components and set the quiescent current to 50mA and returned it to full working condition again.
Must admit, not impressed with the design but well, people will pay for the name.

It seems like extreme overservicing to replace the whole board with a current model (mine was a Cyrus 5 but was returned as a Cyrus 6 or similar) - complete with new paint job and remote control as well. In fact, you're paying for a virtually brand new amplifier rather than service work

clearly an 'interesting' business model.

you are undercharging. Average repair costs are £50 an hour and no way you did all of that in 2 hours. I would guess that, including testing 3.5 hours work. say £10 in parts, so £185. If you have a production line producing assemblies easy to see how it makes more sense to replace the whole board than find the broken parts.

I charge £65 per hour plus parts. Time required to fault find this unknown amplifier was 20 minutes. Order spares then fit them and test. So the job is completed within an extra half hour. On test costs nothing, all but a bit of power.
I was in business, employing 12 engineers and 2 drivers with vans for 30 years and decided to retire. I am making more profit now than ever before!
Everyday brings a challenge, most jobs are under an hour except refurbs and they can take 3 or more, so the price is reflected.

I was asked to look at a Flying Mole Class D amplifier 3 years ago, from a guy in the UK. I spent a few hours working out the circuit, design and fault finding it. I now repair Flying Moles World Wide as no one else seems to be able to.
If one has the tools, life is quite easy. Without specialized tools and experience, more harm than good can be done!

Impressive. I've seen someone strip and fault find a gearbox in 3 minutes, but that was all he did all day. Takes me more than 20 minutes to get a frikkin RS order to work!
I don't have space for the sort of work bench I used to have access with the pull down electric screwdrivers. That did speed up dis-assembly, but we had one bench for each module. But sounds like you have things setup just so!
