I am currently restoring some old Sony gear such as tan9 and tan900 fet monos from late 70s. There some parts indicated as diodes, however marked like 10 (one-zero) YG1.1 or, say, 10YG2.6 etc. In later schematic of tan900 was presenting it with circle and bar, which seems to be CLD (current limiting diode). Such parts are obsolete and not possible to find. Any ideas of replacement? My assumption that 1.1 in the marking could be the current in uA, so possibly J505 from Vishay should fit. Any ideas?

Milliamps I would have thought.
As far as I know these devices are really a constant current device based on a FET and so knowing the voltages the device might see you could actually make your own by choosing a suitable FET.
As long as the values are OK then the off the shelf Vishay ones should be fine.

The voltage is something around 20V, used to drive the base in voltage regulation circuit of the preamp section. I am not much familiar with fets, so I assume I can put there some P-channel 50V fet connecting gate to source for positive rail and vice versa for negative?

This shows how it all works. If you can still get off the shelf parts of the appropriate values then that is probably the first option. If you go discrete using FET's then you can make it simple (1 FET) or more complex. One FET and one resistor is a classic text book current source.
