I'm wondering if anyone can help?
I'm selling my father in-law's audio kit and he has 2 (plus one broken) Crimson ElektriK power Amps which I can't work out the model for.
I sent an email to Crimson and the MD (Peter More), told me they were 530s from c. 1980-82. I have listed them on ebay and now have a very eager messger telling me theyre not 530s and that someone called Brian Powell might help? I've figured out you're on here somewhere Brian - are you the person to talk to?
Also if anyone wants to buy my amps, drop me a line!!

Hi
I am Brian Powell, I designed these units. These look like Crimson CS2000 mono blocks. They use two PCBs in bridge mode and have a 200W or so power ouput. I should get the reservoir caps checked and make sure the wiring meets current safety specs. I can carry out service work if required.

Brian, congratulations on your design.
I had the stereo version in the same type of case and found it much more capable than a Quad 405 and 405/2, although the output devices and drivers did fail on one occasion.
Lovely sounding kit.
