Getting the supplies together for doing some amp building this winter and planned projects include both a pre-amp and a pair of mono-blocks.
It occured to me that the sink cutout from my new Corian counter top would make a nice top for each of my projects. It is large enough and has a nice color (of course it does, I picked it for my counter tops 😉 ).
Has anyone used it this way? Any suggestions, pitfalls, dire warnings?
I searched but mostly found references to using it for speaker baffles and a thread on using it in a DIY turntable (also an excellent idea I think). I didn't see any references to using it for a chassis.

Oops, forgot to mention- I'm planning on doing a tube through design so the tubes will be above the Corian rather than below. Should help with any heat issues.
