Cooling The LCD, Modifying the Intake- Outtake Positions.

I am building an inline 7 inch projector unsplit design. The lcd controler must pass backwards toward the fresnel and over the top. The double fresnel is also about 1/2 inch larger then the lcd on all sides. So I must seal top and bottom space between fresnel and lcd and pull air from left to right across the lcd. This means the 1/2 gap will be on the right side between the fresnel-lexan all to way to the 12cm exhaust fan above the 400w envelope lamp.

I have not build the aluminum box yet however testing on bench with everything full of holes it seems this design would not be adequate cooling the lcd. But since I have not build it I cant really make that conclusion.

I am posting this concern because I really must cut the holes in the alum box first and install everything before I find out. If it doesnt work I have to buy another 4x4 sheet of aluminum.

I will only be using a large hotel type soup bowl reflector which looks like a Norpro. I dont have any IR filter just a lexan xl 10 that will go about 2 inches from the 220mm FL back fresnel.

So I guess the question I really want to ask is will sealing everything up so air is only pulled between lcd -fresnel makes a much bigger diference in cooling the lcd. I mention this because I plan to use air conditioner filter on intake and outtake which will further cut air suckshion
