Hello,
Please suggest whether I made a mistake replacing the TORX of my digital source/tv box/ with a coax inlet just taking out the TORX and installing a BNC receptacle on it's place soldering the ground and the central pin to the TORX point points.
Thanks in advance,
Ignat

TORX outputs clean digital signal with TTL-level values. Coax is basically sine waveform at hundreds of mV S/PDIF - Wikipedia
Conditioning the signal e.g. epanorama.net/S/PDIF Interface

Thanks for your reply but since my DAC accepts only coax I have to try best coax connections, that is the problem.
