I have a few of Chesky and Classic DVD/DAD at 24/96khz and I wanted to rip and convert the files to play on my PC/itunes etc as full 24bit/96khz wav files.I have browsed and tried some conversion programs but most (eg AVS) do not seem to output full 24/96 and some do not even work -at least for the evaluation version.
Hmmmmmm? you should have no problems WMP will rip all sample rates to standard waveform file storage. Try Exact Audio Copy it is one of the best and is shareware.
Unfortunately it is not that simple. These dvd-v audio discs have video type files like ifo vob etc and not the usual audio type files.Seems the DVD Audio Extractor will do 24/96, let's see.
DVD Audio Extractor performed as advertised.OK it is 30 day trial but I only have a few of these DAD's.
Ripping with DVDFab (free) and demuxing the audio with dgindex worked for me.

It's a little temperamental. Wait for it to render the image before invoking the audio demux or it'll freeze. And don't select multiple files because it'll concatenate them into one, unless you want that.
