Conversation closed?

A conversation with me, recently started by another member, shows as 'closed' after a total of 3 posts - why does this happen? is it because the other person has closed it ? I didn't see that as an option ?

What's the difference between a 'conversation' and a PM in the old forum ?

A conversation is the same as a PM, except now they're arranged in thread form rather than separate messages.

Edit: The conversation starter is able to lock the conversation.

I see the option to lock a conversation (PM) but that might be because I’m a moderator.
I’ll check on that.

Thanks for the suggestion, yes that's something new I learned today.

We have tested this. The OP can lock his own conversation. Recipients cannot, you won’t even see the option. Recipients can leave the conversion.
