Hello everyone. Every so often I come up with the construction of either a preamplifier, amplifier or speaker.
Today it occurred to me to build the Part Express C Note speakers.
There are favorable reviews of them online.
But I don't like the arrangement of the overlapping midwoofer and tweeter.
I would like to separate them so that they do not overlap and that the midwoofer is flush with the tweeter.
By moving them a few millimeters or a few centimeters apart, there could be some interference between them, varying the frequency response.
I appreciate your opinions.

As described by the designer at PE, one of the reasons to setting that wave-guided dome tweeter was to time align the two voice coils of the woofer & tweeter...again, at the crossover frequency it may have been necessary to tuck that tweeter underneath as well to accurately space the two from one another, as dictated by the crossover frequency.
