Connecting Power and RCA inputs to a TAS5630.

It appears that there are two holes near the back of the PCB in the middle for a power connection. It doesn't look to me like a footprint for a standard high-power connector, so I'm guessing you are supposed to solder a power lead to it (ideally with ferrules first crimped to the stranded wire so they don't suck up solder and create a point of failure).

The audio inputs are through the three prong connector at the front right of the board. It looks to me like a JST XH 2.54mm. If the board doesn't come with a lead with the connector already attached, you'll have to order one, or the connector and a crimper, or just desolder the connector.

If you are looking for something with more detail, I'd suggest looking around Youtube. Wiring up this board won't be very different than wiring up any other amp module.

Thanks

What kind of power lead would attach to these two holes in the PCB board(I also do see.)
What exactly do each of the three audio prongs connect to on my aux cable, I am familiar with the left and right, is the third for a sub signal?

Those power points are offset from each other. I don't know of a connector with that footprint. Personally, I'd solder up the biggest cables possible through those holes and interface to a meaty power connector on the backplane of your case (probably not a single 5.5x2.1!). other option is a "metal frame" type PSU in the same box. Meaty cables between the PSU and the amp. With the mains AC going to a proper power connector on the back. This second option is the more challenging and dangerous as it involves routing mains electricity through your case.

The audio input connector looks to be a "JST XH" connector. these are common on these little boards and radio controlled toys/models. Centre pin is usually common ground. You can get them for 10 for a dollar on eBay with 4" tails.

I think I can directly connect the power's -/+ to each of the two holes available.
The audio I am under the suspicion that a RCA connector with three (3) prongs will do, I just don't know which pin is which, I always mix left and right anyways, but the third pin concerns me. Is it Left, Ground (center pin) then Right?

Pins are for L R and ground. The centre pin of a pair of RCA connectors are L and R. Outers are both connected to ground. Hope that helps.

As to which on the JST is L or R, who knows. Connect it up, you can always swap the speaker connectors later.

PS the TAS 5630 is a great amp.
