Most computer power supplies have +3.3V, +5V, +12V, -5V, and -12V. What components use the negative supply voltages? It seems like almost all logic devices these days (both simple and complex) make use of single supply lines.

Usually for the serial ports,and sometimes different hardware (soundcards,etc.)
They negative outputs are usually pretty low current,an amp or less (usually 500ma,IME.)
