I had the itch to buy it but haven't even put my first kit together yet.... Have you completed yours? If so, how are you liking them?

They are really excellent speakers, massively engaging, and essentailly good everywhere.
Bass is wonderful, mids have the right about of edge, but not fatiguing.
Detail is good, but if my primary speakers do one thing better then it's the detail retrievel.

Agreed. Prices have risen, in some cases significantly, since I built Elsinores almost 5 years ago. This is a crazy bargain.

I think I am around $1100-$1200 in parts before cabinets for the NXRC Elsinore's. And that is with used woofers! I need to stop building amplifiers and get the Elsinore's built...
