I'm sorry but I think you have to REGISTER to look at those pictures because when I try to click them I get a pop up. I don't know what it says though because I don't know korean 🙂

ooO!! I think I know a girl who does though!! But she's not online 🙁

Ok I am going to register now and see what happens, I'll keep everyone updated.

Oh and by the way, good link Pashiran, we are happy to hear that there are people in Korea who are also working on this. And from what I have seen on some other links I found on that site, you guys are talented..and I mean really talented.

I can translate, gentlemen.

Hello
I'm also newbie to this forum. and I'm one member of that Korean forum. I'm studying in US. Even I'm not a native english speaker, better than stupid web translator.🙂

currently I just got infocus tvt 3000 panel (VGA only 640 res but runs good)
and bought 250W MH and ballast from that community.

I think I'll go simple plan.
if you have any question I'll translate or answer. I come here everyday.~
Thank you

P.S those guys are generally using Samsung LCD panel which is used for laptop. so absolutely better than OHP panel.
you can buy those kind of panel on Ebay. but it's hard to get compatible controller.(those guys bought controll board as a group from a small korean company)

but it's hard to find compatible controller(AD borad) and costs a lot.

Thanks for filling us in hoontang. Those are nice projectors and they look nice since the builders put them in a metal box. Excatly what are the speficiations on those LCD's? Like
resolution,contrast ratio, and response time?

I noticed on the first link that was posted the projector appeared to have large amounts of keystone effect. I was wondering if you guys had found a solution to prevent keystoning. Keystone is this effect

Where the picture doesn't quite appear square and fill the whole screen.

Thanks for all the info and translation you have provided for us so far. You can speak english far better then the altavista translator  .

EDIT: Hey wow I didn't realize but we're both in portland right now.

From the post in "Post your results II".. with a little closer look at the korean-style LCD projector.. it looks like the insides are pretty much the same as our's as far as optics goes except the smaller LCD.. does that look like a triplet lens? Because if the only difference is the LCD... I might look into this because the size is just too attractive to pass up.. price aside.
