hi
am trying to find a sub for cm2n60 which i think is a mosfet.also tryin to find the datesheet.
can a transistor be a sub for a mosfet in any case?
i have seen a transistor in the same circuit location in a simillar power supply
thanks in advance for the help

Hi, mosfets have a common designation but not all brands.
So 2N60 could mean 2 ampere 60 or 600V.So there are
many N channel mosfets out there just make sure the
pinouts is the same for the original for source, drain and gate.
It is advisable not to sunstitute a bipolar transistor unless you
know how to bias it correctly.Like I said mosfets are easy to find.
