Thank you 😉
to the third photographs, I applied cement
carriage-builder for equalized the round-off because it was not
perfect but on the second lower SA2K, I did not put cement but has force of sandpapered it became quite smooth 😉
First is in plating drink true, second is in plating self-adhesive vinyl😉

I employment a tweeter scanspeak D2905/9700 and the last 15w4531G00 of scanpeak.
Second-order filter on the low medium. Filter of the 3 2nd order on the acute one with equalization of the tweeter by a resistance + a compensation of impedance on the filter 😉
It is the first time that I hears with tends serious to leave a 15cm
in only 10 liters!! Listening is really marvellous, I updaté the filter at least ten times before arrived at this result. To say to you in 20m2, there are not really needs for a box for low 😉
Acute the medium part is still better than my PROAC2.5 is to say to you 😉
For those which seek a small monitor with the signal level with low register, the SA2K is really one best kind 😉

Fantastique!
Your craftsmanship is excellent.
I'm sure they sound as good as they look.
I can appreciate how much work you put into these speakers. This construction technique has much promise. With some imagination, almost any shape can be achieved.
Here is a link to something similar that I did:
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/kidder/Audio/TransLam/translam_alpha.htm
I would like to explore more possibilities with this construction technique but, for me, it is too time consuming.
Your work is truly first rate! (makes my stuff look ugly.)
Do you have plans for another speaker?
Best regards,
Keith Kidder

It's been some weeks since I started thinking doing similar. Do you guys think cutting a template and then gluing a square piece on top of the template and then use a router with a heavy duty triming bit to cut the piece flush to the template would be a good idea? We could do that till we achieve desired height. This way I think there would be minimal sanding to finish it.
I manufactured a plate with the shape of the enclosure, and all the
other plasques ones one etait traced with this gabari. it is well as
celà which you think?

DPW,
That would work nicely - it depends on how good your router bit is as to how long it will last though....( at work we buy tungsten carbide ones for use on plywood, and they burn out quick..)
Go for it!

When I built the TransLams I had a CNC shop cut the panels for me. We went though 5 very expensive Onsruud carbide bits. I wonder if there is a way to cut all of the panels accurately with a band saw. Then it would just be a matter of gluing all the rings and sanding everything smooth.

I cut out all the plates with the jigsaw while following the feature
of the gauge, and I refined with a cutter to smash.
And I then sandpapered 😉
It is rather simple with carried out but request of time 😉
