I am looking at building a 3 channel amp to drive my LCR in my home theater setup. The amp will be driving two Paradigm Monitor 7s v6 and a CC-290 v6. I'll use my Yamaha AV receiver as a pre-amp.
My budget is about $600 AUD for the modules and power supply.
I have a Hifimediy T4 I built a few years ago and it sounds great paired with my Mark Audio Alpair 7 towers. There seems to be a lot more choice today than when I first did my DIY amp.
Any suggestions?

Has anyone tried the Sure AA-AB35511 (3 x 500W) amp? That's 500W @ 3 omhs. What would the output be for 8 ohms?

Or three Hifimediy T3 mono blocks? https://hifimediy.com/amplifiers/diy-amplifiers/T3-mono
That's 150W per channel @ 8 ohms.

That 500W at 10% THD+N, you do not want to listen to that [emoji1]. In 8 ohms it is probably voltage limited. Let's take the 1% THD+N figure in 3 ohm, 312 Watt (RMS?). Ohms law gives you 30Vrms. Put that in 8 ohm's and you have your answer. Theoretical.Has anyone tried the Sure AA-AB35511 (3 x 500W) amp? That's 500W @ 3 omhs. What would the output be for 8 ohms?
