Q4 & Q5 are to aid switch off timing, they are not drivers, they ensure that the FET being switched off is switched off quickly and before the other FET switches on.

I suspect the 22R gate resistors will be too high for the 4227's.
If the 4227 doesn't switch on fast enough 2092 thinks there is a short and reset.
I found mine was borderline with 10R so probably 4R7 would be a good value.
I tried a couple of ways of driving multiple 4227 gates.
1/ TC4420 6 amp gate driver.
2/ Push pull stage using discrete transistors.
Both worked well.
