To date I have made five Class D amps and two more to go. Fortunately friends have liked them and three have sold. I'm currently playing a Digikey sold, IRS2092 chip based 250W amp which I called "Class D" Not a lot of imagination used this time. The board is: IRAUDAMP7S-ND. I'm running it at full PS voltage so I can get 250W pc at less than 0.1% THD.
This build is the most expensive so far because I used $130 47,000uf Mundorf M-Lytic caps. These are monsters and can deliver 700A continuously. I used two for the differential PS. I also added some 10uf poly snubbers and removed the 22uf input caps on the brd. The input electros were replaced with Russian Military PET style caps. Big of course so mounted off the brd. As usual I included a RFI\EMI power filter on board. The enclosure is a 3U 19" rack mount with a lovely black stipple finish, looks pro!
The power tranni is rated 500VA and this amp can deliver the 500W if called on. I think it is the most transparent amp to date, deep full bodied bass, clean mids and good highs. The treble could be better but I'm more than happy with the balance.

Nice to hear some good comments about class d.
Personally I can't tell the difference between class d and class ab.
Class d does get some slating as only being good enough for sub amps.
