I am looking for a low wattage mono chip amp to use with a Tivoli loudspeaker (top firing loudspeaker). I will use my Naim tuner as a source. I am considering to use batteries as a power supply. I think i will need 2-10 watts. Maybe someone has a suggestion on a suitable chip.
Thanks,
Kenneth

hello.
please can you give more information.
what battery supply voltage..........speaker impedance and power (watt)..........
with 12v single supply perhaps a tda 2002 or something else....
greetings.................

I dont know the impedance of the speaker. I want to use a +/- 9v supply. I am sure that 5 watt will be sufficient.

Do you know, how power depends on impedance?
P = U²/R
Find out, which impedance the speaker has. Then you can choose the right chipamp, corresponding power supply and heatsink.
What is the budget?

hello.
the little 9v batteries(pp3/6lr61) with r. a. 120..........160mah?
they are too small,that will give you e.g. 0,5w continous for 2 or 3 hours............
think of radios with 6 or 8 cells (perhaps 1,2v and 2000mah)-they work only a few hours.................
