there are so many XMOS U208 baords from China. Anyone have experience with these devices and how to choose the best one, with or without CPLD...:

Personally I would buy one of these over a Chinese board every time;

I2SoverUSB - I2S over USB Audio

It'll cost more but it will have genuine parts, proper support and will work plus it includes isolation and reclocking of the I2S/DSD outputs.

I can not agree more to nautibuoy, JLsounds is the way to go. You'll have so much more possibilities with I2SoverUSB. Driver availability, output configuration (RJ,LJ,I2S, PCM) and perfect quality.
