I'm mounting a 20" lcd tv to 2x4 that is attach to a hallow walls and so far i getting there to completion and i have 2 question
1.I using the original hardware from the stand as a mount and is strong so can i add something is make it more stronger ?
back of my lcd have 4 hole and i using 2" L bracket and i mounting to the top of the tv and turn the bracket like a upside down L and using the top hole so far is holding but i don't want to put that much pressure because there is nothing supporting the botton holes so i was think is using a 5" l bracket and that mean is full support and i want to know is this a good ideal ?

Wall mounts are cheap for something that small. That would be the easiest route to take. But I have mounted a 19" computer to the wall with picture frame hanging wire and hallow wall anchors. It worked for 2 years until I moved the room aroun. Best bet would be to buy the wall mount
