Need a source for old-fashioned trimpots for chassis/panel mounting. The type you find in old tube equipment. Either the shaft & locking collar type of the shaftless (screwdriver slot) type. Anyone have a source? I need 5k value but I can probably use anything from 2k to 10k.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks. Those are not locking collar type. Non-locking is ok in a shaftless, but if they have a shaft, it's too easy to disturb accidentally.
Try Surplus Sales of Nebraska, or Electronics Surplus in Mentor OH -- they both have the slotted screwdriver adjust pots with locking collar -- at least last time I looked.
Mine are mounted between EL34s in a position where they are unlikely to be disturbed, and the shaft seems to have quite a bit of friction so I have not had any problems with unwanted changes.
Are these what you're looking for -- with the 1/4" shaft -- there are others with a 1/8" shaft as well:
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Thank you Jack!
Yes, that's what I'm looking for. I prefer the two at the right side of the picture with no shaft, as they would be exact replacements in an existing chassis. With the mounting holes 1" apart. Those also have the advantage that they can be operated from both sides, very handy when working on it.
I think I found some at Electronic Surplus, I've got to check with them tomorrow. Their picture is not clear.
Thanks for the help.
